This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Proxare LLC ("Proxare", "we") collects when you visit proxare.com or use our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and name, which we receive from the sign-in provider you choose (Google, Facebook or Apple), and, if you give them, your company. We do not receive your password for those services.
- Order and payment information: what you bought, the amount, the date and the payment method type. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. For stablecoin payments we receive the transaction reference and wallet address.
- Service usage information: the amount of data used, timestamps, the proxy products used and connection metadata such as the IP address you connect from. We use this for billing, support and abuse prevention.
- Support messages: what you send us by email or through the website.
- Website data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit.
- Verification information: if we ask you to verify your identity or business, the documents or details you provide.
How we use it
- to provide the services, deliver your order and give support;
- to process payments and prevent fraud;
- to detect, investigate and stop misuse of the services;
- to send service messages such as receipts, expiry notices and changes to our terms;
- to keep records required for tax, accounting and legal purposes;
- to improve the website and services.
We send marketing email only if you have agreed to receive it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with:
- Sign-in providers (Google, Facebook and Apple), when you choose to sign in with them, under their own privacy policies;
- Cloudflare, whose Turnstile service checks that sign-in requests come from a person and not a bot, and which sees your IP address and browser details for that purpose;
- Stripe, which processes payments and helps prevent payment fraud, under its own privacy policy;
- Proxy network providers, to the limited extent needed to deliver the service and handle abuse reports;
- Service providers that host our systems, send email and help us run the business, under contracts that limit their use of the data;
- Authorities or other parties where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our customers or the public;
- A successor if the business is merged, sold or reorganised.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to run the website, keep you signed in and complete checkout, including cookies set by Stripe for payment security and by Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is open and for as long afterwards as tax, accounting and legal rules require. We keep service usage and server logs for a limited period needed for billing, security and abuse handling, and then delete or anonymise them.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it or delete it, by writing to support@proxare.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep information that the law requires us to keep.
Residents of U.S. states with privacy laws (such as California) may have additional rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about a request. We do not sell personal information.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we process your information on these legal bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the services, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it. You also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
International transfers
Proxare is based in the United States, and your information is processed there and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.
Children
The services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the date below. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in your account.
